Mango Outlet Store at Robinson's Star Mills Pampanga

If you take a peek inside my closet, most of my clothes are from a particular store. I am super in love with Mango! Their clothes are just so me, trendy but not overly edgy. Feminine yet not ultra frilly. So when I discovered this Mango mecca at Robinson's Star Mills in Pampanga, I was beyond thrilled. My officemate and I actually made it a point to drop by the store everytime we were on  a field mission to the ever so boring province of Bataan. Yes, pleasure before business will get going my friends. Sadly since I was that excited to shop, and writing about this was not in my plan, I was not able to get a photo of the store. Yeah, boo me. :(

However, I will share what I got from my two visits. There are some which are still in the laundry though Haha.

To give you an idea of how the prices were slashed, let me show you the price tags.

I got this blazer with belt for PhP 1,250 from it's original price of 3,950. Almost the same price slash for this very beautiful work dress.

Apart from that I was also able to get a pair of jeans, slacks, long cardigan and a polo shirt at 70% off. My mastercard and EQ were the casualties but it was definitely triumph for the closet. Wooot!

I'm definitely going back. I swear, the trip is so worth it. :D

New Members of the Family

I was under a trance last Sunday that I ended buying 5 pairs of shoes. This was the first time ever that I did this in my entire life. I swear.

Background story, I was on the hunt for this certain pair of shoes from Nine West. I saw it at their Shangri-la branch but too bad they do not have it in my size anymore. I had them call their other branches and left my number just in case. Minutes later I got a text message saying that they found one in my size at their branch in Glorietta. They could actually put the item on hold but since I wanted to secure the pair, I went to the said branch the following day. This was my first high-ticket shoe purchase. Since I used my BDO credit card, I was able to get it at 10% off. But still, it costed me a whopping 5,000 pesos!

But wait there's more! I passed by SM Makati and they had these cloth ballet flats which were selling at 2 for PhP 399. I first saw these when my officemate bought a pair in SM Cebu while we were on fieldwork. I got myself two pairs. I would have to test it's durability though but if I get to wear these ten times, then I would have gotten value for my money already.

Since my moccasins gave up on me already, I searched for a new one. I found this at 50% off from Cinderella at Glorietta. I was actually looking for a white pair but beige will do.

Lastly, with the rainy season starting to kick in, I finally mustered the strength to buy myself a pair of Melissa flats. It's waaaaaaaay better looking than Crocs. I was again looking for a specific style and I wasn't able to find it in Geleia in Trinoma. Good thing that I dropped by Shoe Salon because yey I found it and it was at 20% off! I was actually eyeing the gold pair but the only size they had left was 10. Boo.

So now the problem is where would I fit them inside my shoe closet?

Summer Fling

I spent the Labor Day weekend at Boracay for the Cura Kalikasan project of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. It was basically vacation pretending to be a clean up activity. Haha! Well we won all major awards including the Amazing Race. We are competitive like that. It was super fun, just what I needed after the whole drama. Days and nights of good food, parties, sea and booze. Ironically, it started while I was in Boracay last November and it ended with a thud in Boracay as well. My photos will summarize the blast I had that weekend. Good times!

Well, so this is probably my most "productive," "scheming" and "interesting" trip to the island so far. But then as they say...whatever happened in Boracay, stays buried in Boracay. *winks*

My Zalora Wishlist

Ask anybody I know and they will tell you that my name is synonymous to shopping. I am a serial shopper. If most people do stress eating, I do the stress shopping. Recently I went through a really bad break up and that just fueled my penchant for buying beautiful things all the more.

I stumbled upon this irresistible blog contest on Nuffnang and I just have to join it. Zalora is the newest haven for online shoppers. Zalora has gone live at about the same time in seven Asian countries just this year. Zalora Philippines carry numerous brands, local and foreign alike. It saves you the hassle of going around the mall when you can just stay in the comforts of your home, browse through every page and shop without having to lift one finger. The best part is they deliver for free, on the same day and you can pay when your merchandise arrives. Cool beans!

I had a hard time choosing from all the beautiful items on the site. I was practically drooling over everything! From work dresses to cute bikinis to accessories. They even carry sports goods and stuff for the home. I really loved a lot of the items but having tasked to choose only five, here are my picks:

Kelsea SL Combi Dress by Space

I work as a gas girl. No seriously, I work for one of the top 3 oil companies here in the Philippines and I refuse to dress sloppy in the office. A dress like this is versatile and can take me to from corporate to part mode in the evening.

Versatile Gold Buckled Tote Bag by Bonita

I cannot live with a small bag because I practically place the whole of my house inside it. I carry a lot of stuff and I feel naked if ever I have to leave any of my stuff behind. This is just a perfect everyday bag for work and being neutral colored, this will go with well with everything that I own.

Farrah by Naked Sun Swim

Summer is practically over, as evident by rain showers here and there, but I still want to get my hands on this cute bikini by Naked Sun. I looked all over Manila for this and to no avail, I failed. Good thing Zalora carries my size!

Gastrada Pimienta by Paez Shoes
This is just perfect for lazy days: strolling at the park, lounging at the mall or reading a book and having your me time while sipping on your usual latte. This shoes by Paez is just comfortable!

Craft by Rayban

Well, I can't afford (or maybe I can I just can't justify getting one) buying a Rayban but since this is a wishlist, I'll include it here. :P

I could probably go on but these are my top 5 picks from Zalora. The site tests my EQ actually because I am tempted to buy a lot of items...but I'll wait. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get to win this one. *winks*
